Dr. Ming Li graduated from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, ranked #1 among 150 pharmacy schools in the United States, holding a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and a Master's degree in Microbiology. She is currently a licensed pharmacist in both North Carolina and Texas. In 2015, Dr. Li co-founded Holly Springs Pharmacy with fellow alumni, dedicated to serving community healthcare. She is an active member of several professional associations, including the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), the North Carolina Integrative Medical Society (NCIMS), and the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA). Dr. Li frequently attends specialized pharmacy conferences and is currently focused on the field of nutritional pharmacy. She is committed to providing high-quality, effective, and pure natural nutritional pharmacy products to improve people's health and quality of life, with a particular emphasis on nutrition and rehabilitation for cancer patients.
Dr. Li previously gained valuable experience working for major retail pharmacy chains like CVS and Walmart and completed internships at Biologics, a specialty oncology pharmacy, and the oncology pharmacy of UNC Medical Center. This has provided her with deep insights into both large U.S. retail pharmacy chains and specialized oncology pharmacies. Additionally, she holds certifications in Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS), vaccine administration, and Aging. During her studies at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Dr. Li demonstrated outstanding academic performance and was awarded multiple scholarships.
Prior to her pharmacy education, Dr. Li accumulated substantial research experience, working for three years on HIV gene sequencing at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and for eight years on molecular cloning and gene sequencing at Duke University Medical Center. A method she developed for creating pseudoviruses using molecular cloning was published in the Journal of Virology with her as the first author, and this technique is now widely adopted within the scientific community. In total, she has authored or co-authored 23 peer-reviewed academic publications.
